Comps

This past weekend was a big one for me. Not only was I showered with love by my family and several friends, I also took my comprehensive exams. Truthfully, I have no idea how it all went, but that isn't the significant point here. This weekend, for me, was a huge time marker. I kept telling myself, "I'll worry about that AFTER comps" and "The baby won't be here until AFTER comps". Now, it is "After comps". No more procrastinating. No more thinking about how things will change 'one day'. 'One day' is approaching quickly. Things are happening. This time of my life is both terrifying and amazing. I'm so happy to be exactly here.
