10 x 10

Yesterday was my birthday. While I am not old, I feel old. I feel like I am behind, as if I am too caught up in my daily bullshit to actually live. With this set of circumstances in mind, I have been dreading this birthday for a couple of months -panicked about it even (don't judge me). A few weeks ago, my friend AJ mentioned something called a 10x10 list. This is a list of 100 things that one would like to accomplish over the next ten years at a pace of 10 per year. Great list. By the way...The Giver is one of my favorite books of all time, even though is supposed to be for younger readers. Maybe that is why I like it so much.

Thanks, Steve. I've actually thought of several things I want to add/revise. Although I can't recall them all at this moment, I need to add:

1. Learn about wine.

Ooh...The Giver. Yes. If you haven't read any works by Chaim Potok I highly recommend him. Fantastic works.

I'll teach you about wine at our local brewery. I just went and found a wine I actually like. Come on over sometime and we'll celebrate your birthday together in person even if it is a little late. hope you had a spectacular day on the 22nd. Love you,
