Light

I do not know what the typical parenting experience is. It seems that some people enjoy their children more than others. Some people seem to resent their kids, others adore them.

My son is everything I hoped he would be. He is funny. He is stubborn. He is engaging. He is a challenge. He makes me work hard. He is inconvenient at times. He is snugly. He is curious. He is happy. He is healthy. He is the light of my life.

There is not a single day that goes by that I do not realize how lucky I am.

I hope it is always this way.
